Never Stop Watching 'Last Man Standing'
I can be part of a church family whether my spouse goes or not. I got married last year, left a great job, family, friends and city to be with my husband in a very small under developed town. The scriptures say that one of the main reasons good people don't join the church is because they just haven't been introduced to it. I thought I was very understanding and, while I did invite her out at other times, I was very clear that her studies were paramount and I wanted to support her as best as I could during this time. In my experience, life-long member, many Mormons have difficulty thinking outside the box, and putting forth effort to inclue and love.
During "Netflix and chill" the other night, I noticed there was a documentary about mormons. My parents met when my mom was in 8th grade and married when she was I think my sister married fastest and knew her husband at least 18 months, dating for at least half that. So if you are caffeine junky, be sure that you can adjust to and accept your date's beliefs before going on a date. She went ahead a married a non member. I have known many women who have married non-members and are happy. My Buddhist husband likes Mormons and even going to church. It is also considered disrespectful to others, as they may be uncomfortable because of your open displays. As ex-mormons, can anyone here offer some insight about this girl, her religion, and what exactly I may be getting myself into if I continue dating her.
