Spring Break is upon the USA, when hordes of college students flock to booze-fuelled beach parties filled with drugs, nudity, sex and brawling. The parties started in after college swimming coach Sam Ingram brought his team to train at the Casino Pool in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Fort Lauderdale saw , students descending on it by — and by the end of the decade the town had had enough of the hard partying. The town went on to build a wall separating the beach from the road, raised the drinking age and made drinking open containers of alcohol illegal — but still the parties persisted, with many heading to other towns further south instead. As Spring Break became more and more of a trend, MTV began to broadcast shows and live music from Daytona Beach in Florida which only made the parties even more popular. Porn director Joe Francis began filming girls dancing topless on the beach for his franchise Girls Gone Wild — often unbeknownst to them. This year's parties in South Padre Island, Texas, have 18, students flock to take part and spectate in " booty shake competitions ". Throughout the day, party animals down shots and take part in x-rated twerking contests and wet T-shirt competitions. Beach commissioners suggested using Mozart to break up the party, as well as limit alcohol sales and ban scooter rentals. The burly one-man wrecking machine is pictured throwing punches at a young party-goer at the start of the mass brawl.

It was also used for a robbery in the movie "Springbreakers" that featured Selena Gomez and James Franco to name a couple. I almost didn't share this one because it developed weird after being crushed in my bag. So I watched this movie called Springbreakers the other day. The tagline for "Spring Breakers" may as well be "Watch these former Disney girls go wild! Though we've heard many things about the film , we're still not sure what to expect from Harmony Kornine's latest project -- but it sounds like it was pieced together out of the whatever they couldn't show you on MTV's yearly Spring Break special. Vulture caught up with Vanessa Hudgens, one of the film's four bikini-clad stars, at a party in New York this week, and she revealed that the film was shot cinema verite-style, with real-life college kids providing an ultra-realistic background canvas to film against. Hudgens, who has had her own nudity issues in the past , told Vulture the display made her "freak out. It sounds like filming the movie took quite the toll on the "High School Musical" star, who previously revealed that shooting her threesome scene with James Franco and Ashley Benson was too much for her to handle. I told my agent that I never want to do it ever again," she said.
